Fall Tuition Rates and General Info
Our season runs from August 30th through mid May. Each class meets once per week, however our tuition is not determined by a certain number of classes during a month. The number of classes per month may fluctuate based on calendar breaks and will not be pro-rated on months where a week is missed due to school closing. We follow the Cobb County School calendar for breaks and are closed all major holidays. In the event of illness make-up lessons and virtual options are available, please ask at our front desk for assistance.
Tuition is due the 1st of each month August – May
Multi Class Discount - Discounts are available by dancer for additional classes.
Tuition will be automatically drafted from accounts on the 1st of each month (August through May). Drafts can be setup with a debit card or a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover) at time of registration. Powerhouse Dance Center will inform you via email if your card is declined or any reason.
A $15 late fee is automatically charged to accounts not paid in full by the 5th of the month.
Tuition is non-refundable. All withdrawals from class roster must be received in writing prior to the first of the month in order to not be charged for that month. If you wish to withdraw your student from class, you must do so using the parent portal or by emailing the studio prior to the next month’s tuition due date. Once the tuition has been drafted from the card on file, there is a $40 admin fee to process the withdrawal.
Dancers must enroll by FEBRUARY 1st to be able to participate in the Spring Recital. A $30 participation fee will be charged per dancer to offset costs of end of the year awards and theater rental. This fee will a recital video, but will not include show tickets. Tickets will be available for purchase. Participants must also purchase a costume to participate in the spring recital. Costume fees are $80 for regular classes and $95 for Combo classes (Preschool Combo and Kinder Combo). If the recital costume has already been ordered for your child, you are responsible for extra payment in full.
Class Conduct: Dancers are expected to arrive for class on time in the proper attire including shoes. Your teacher will meet you in the lobby and bring you to your class. We expect all dancers to work hard, try their very best and to show respect to the staff and their classmates. Above all our goal is to offer an inviting and engaging place to learn and want to see our dancers succeed. Please contact the front desk with any questions or concerns.
